Fill in the form and register

First name and last name (“Vorname und Nachname”).

To identify you clearly, it is important that you tell us your real first and last name when you register.

To simplify the registration process, your information will be automatically filled into the "Username" and "Display Name" fields. You can, of course, change these entries.

E-mail address (“E-Mail-Adresse”)

We also need an email address to which your login details will be sent after registration. You can then use this email address as your login (instead of your username). Please note that you cannot use the same email address more than once. For example, if you and your partner share an email address, you can only use it for one registration.

Username (“Benutzername”)

You can choose your own username. This will also be your login to vhs.cloud (alternatively to the email address you provide). It is important that you do not use any special characters, umlauts or spaces, and that it is unique to vhs.cloud. So if you get a message that the username you have chosen is already taken, you will need to come up with a new one. Please note the following: The username cannot be changed later and is visible on vhs.cloud, including in member lists and the mail service. The visibility of the username cannot be restricted.

Displayed name (“Angezeigter Name”)

The displayed name is the name by which you will be displayed to other members of vhs.cloud. It is automatically made up of your first and last name. If you do not want your full name to be displayed, you can change it at any time.

General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

Finally, you will need to accept the Terms and Conditions and read the Privacy Policy.

Log in (“Einloggen”)

Once you have completed and submitted the registration form, you will receive an email with your password at the address you have provided. Please note that your registration details will be automatically deleted if you do not log in within two months!

What does registration allow me to do? ("Was ermöglicht mir die Registrierung?")

Once you have registered, you will have access to your personal "desk" in the vhs.cloud. As a participant in a course, you will be added to the course in vhs.cloud. You can find out more after logging in to your desk.
